DESIGN - MANUFACTURE - INSTALL

We provide end-to-end solutions for geotechnical and erosion control challenges, offering expertise across design, supply, installation, and manufacturing.

Our experienced team delivers sustainable, bioengineered designs tailored to each project, ensuring compliance with industry standards. From concept to completion, we are committed to delivering durable, sustainable solutions that maximise efficiency and long-term performance.

Free design service

Our in-house team offers free initial solutions and advice. A full design report with technical support is available at an extra cost.

Eco-friendly solutions

Rootlok is a vegetated retaining wall system that supports biodiversity and has a lower carbon footprint than traditional structures. We also use recycled materials for Rootlok plates.

Affordable & versatile

Rootlok is cost-effective, quick to install with minimal labour, and suitable for various applications.

Licensed & insured

Our trained teams are SMAS, CHAS Elite, and Constructionline Gold accredited. All work is covered by liability and professional indemnity insurance.

Design

From concept to completion of your solutions, our experienced team of designers and geotechnical engineers deliver sustainable bioengineered techniques that challenge soil erosion, wall retention, habitat creation and river and flood protection to name a few.

Our levels of design include;

Initial design

We will provide you with technical advice and a free initial design and quote. This design drawing will show you what we would expect the solution to be.

Formal design

Our experienced design team can complete formal designs to help optimise your solution. Included with this are design drawings, a design report detailing methodology and geotechnical analysis confirming the solution is British Standard and Eurocode compliant.

As standard all our designs come with professional indemnity insurance. Furthermore, we can provide a collateral warranty as an optional extra.

Our past projects have demonstrated that there are cost savings in using bioengineering solutions in place of hard revetments and that our environmentally sensitive revetments are often more durable. Furthermore, working closely with our team of engineers will allow you to maximise value engineering potential.

GeoGrow can also advise on vegetation selection and establishment for any Rootlok application.

Manufacture
We are the manufacturer and distributor of the Rootlok Vegetated Wall System.

The concept of Rootlok allows contractors and homeowners to complete the installation of the system themselves with ease. We supply installation guides as standard and provide support along the way. If you are looking for further guidance we can also organise for one of our experienced site engineers to provide daily supervision at a low cost.

The Rootlok System is manufactured in the UK and can be supplied as pre-filled geotextile bags or empty bags for you to fill yourself, both options will come with the correct quantity of interlocking plates needed. The pre-filled units are delivered to site on pallets. Automation is used in the bag filling process to ensure each bag is the same size and weight. If you require unfilled units to fill yourself, we will provide a strict fill material specification the Rootlok System has been recommended and tested to maximise vegetation growth.

Approximately 10m2 - 20m2 of wall can be installed per day on average.

Hydroseed
Hydroseeding is a highly effective and efficient method of vegetating large areas and controlling erosion, perfect for hard-to-seed places such as slopes, lawns, verges and hillsides and other open spaces that are often neglected and unsightly.

Hydroseeding is done by simply mixing a combination of seeds, water, mulch, and additives such as fertiliser or biostimulants into a slurry, which is then sprayed directly onto the area.

We are proud of our innovative hydroseeding offering which utilises a range of highly effective products to provide an aesthetically-pleasing and cost-effective solution to common issues faced by contractors, consultants and end users such as:

  • Erosion control
  • Biotic soil amendment
  • Re-vegetation

Our solutions can be used to offer temporary cover for a space, or as a permanent solution to encourage flora and fauna to a particular area.
